The Lake Oswego community would like to congratulate the LOHS Boys Soccer Program for another excellent year. For the 4th year in a row, the varsity team finished in the top 10 in the state academically, continuing to demonstrate that it is possible to excel both academically AND athletically. The varsity team also reached the OSAA 6A semifinals along with Grant, McMinnville, and Westview high schools. 70 players on all four teams competed in 60 games winning 40, scoring 220 goals, giving up only 90. This year's Senior Class set a high bar, winning the Three Rivers League twice, reaching the OSAA 6A semifinals twice, finishing in the Oregon state academic top 10 all four years, placing four players on the Three Rivers League All-Star team, and placing two players on the OSAA 6A All-State team. Congratulation to all players and their families for another quality season.

Welcome to the official website of the Lake
Oswego High School Boys Soccer Program. Here you can find lots of information about the teams, current players, alumni, and coaches, in addition to schedules, rosters, sponsors,
and more. And of course, lots of pictures. So bookmark this page, and we'll do our best to keep it up to date with the latest information about LOHS boys soccer.
Lake Oswego High School is one of just a few high schools in the state of Oregon with four boys soccer teams. In the Fall of 2011, seventy players participated on the Varsity, JV1, JV2 Navy, and JV2 White teams. The coaching staff is dedicated to providing maximum participation, accelerated player development, and competitive teams at all levels. All of the teams play with quickness and quality on the field, but we expect academic excellence from our players as well. Please check out the pages of this website to learn more about our program, and be sure to visit our ALUMNI pages to see where our graduating players are heading off to college, proving that it is indeed possible to be a top scholar and top athlete at the same time.
The Lake Oswego High School Boys Soccer Program motto is "Quickness & Quality". The
letters "QQ" can be found on our training jerseys, indicating that we expect all members of the program (including players, coaches, parents, and administrators) to adhere
to the motto both on and off the field.
The motto comes from the overall philosophy of the program, that quality is prioritized over raw results. They are not the same thing. Quality and excellence are lasting and dependable, and largely
within your control. In contrast, results and success are temporary and are often outside your control. Those who strive for quality and excellence, will probably achieve successful results. But
those who prioritize results over all things, will probably never achieve true excellence.
An additional burden for those victims of the results mentality is that they are threatened by the success of others, and resent genuine excellence. While those driven to achieve quality are
excited to see it in others.
